Improved Basecamp Sync

Today I’d like to highlight our much improved Basecamp Sync.

We originally wrote the Basecamp integration with the launch of Cashboard. The API they provided back then didn’t allow us to do some things, such as importing and exporting time entries during a project sync.

To get around this, we’ve allowed you to directly import time entries to an invoice, and sync tasks on a project. This has caused many customers mass confusion and admittedly was a pretty hackish solution. Customers believed that you should be able to sync tasks and time while running a project sync. They were right.

Accepting Payments Online

Get your invoices paid faster by accepting payments online with credit cards or PayPal.

Configuring PayPal

Cashboard allows you to accept online payments from your clients through PayPal. Your clients may pay you with either credit cards or a PayPal account.

CSV Data Import

Cashboard allows you to upload Comma Separated Value files to import data from other programs, or simply bulk load data you’ve created in a spreadsheet program.

CSV files can be created by using Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Apple Numbers, or even a text editor.

If you’re moving from another project management or time tracking system, there’s a great chance that you can export your data as CSV files for import into Cashboard.

Only employees of your company with Cashboard Administrator access may use our import features.
