After struggling with managing a project between both systems and listening to a few suggestions from customers we’re proud to unveil true Basecamp task sync.

Now besides being able to import and export to-do items with Basecamp, you can sync the items that already exist in both systems.

You are able to choose what system is the master, using that to push or pull changes, depending on your work style. If you primarily update task completion status inside Cashboard, you can use that as the master. After the sync all items you’ve marked complete inside Cashboard will be also marked complete within Basecamp.

With large numbers of items (100+) it can be a little slow, but unfortunately that’s the nature of the API.

We just finished rolling out a frequently requested feature that allows you to have full control of how time entries get shown to your clients.

Besides the original two choices (Show time entries when invoiced, or as marked billable), you can now specify that your clients can never see time entries on their interface.

However, this setting is independent of invoices. You can still choose to include time entry summaries on a per-invoice basis if you so choose.
