Multi Currency Support
April 24th, 2007By popular demand, today we launch our initial version of multi currency support. You can even bill each of your customers in their own home currency.
Until now all accounts have defaulted to USD. You may change this by visiting your Account Settings page. To do so, click on the main Settings tab, then the Account sub-tab.
From there, scroll down until you see something like this…
Using the drop-down you can select another currency.
Click the Change Account Currency button all of your stored financial information will be converted, using today’s exchange rate information.
All financial data within Cashboard will be shown in your home currency.
Timepost Integration
April 19th, 2007Today there’s yet another way to log hours with your Cashboard account. Timepost is a stand-alone Mac OS X product that supports multiple timers and customizable rounding.
Give it a try if you want to log time from outside the application and aren’t currently using our dashboard widget.
Timepost is not developed, supported or sold by Subimage LLC.
Ordering Tasks and Items
April 17th, 2007We’ve just added the ability to reorder Estimate and Project tasks, as well as Invoice Items.
To do so, just look for the small Reorder links at the top and bottom of each respective table.
A window will come up where you can drag and drop items in whatever order you like.
Enjoy!

Cashboard Timer - OS X Time Tracking Widget
April 12th, 2007Entering your time into Cashboard just got a lot easier.
Cashboard Timer lets you log time without keeping a web browser open.
Bring up the widget, press start and go do your work as the timer keeps running in the background. When you’re finished, come back to send the time directly into your Cashboard account.

Why Cashboard?
April 10th, 2007In the beginning there was nothing…
In addition to Cashboard, we run a fairly successful web consulting business – Subimage. Many years ago when I first started consulting I was more focused on landing jobs than worrying about how I’d get my clients to pay after the fact.
After the first two weeks passed I came to the realization that I actually needed to get paid for my efforts. I had no record of how long things took, and no way to write up an invoice.
The first invoice I generated was an Excel spreadsheet, with estimates of how long things took. I’m sure I messed up and underestimated my hours (losing money), fearing I would scare my clients away with a huge bill.
This worked out for awhile until I started wondering how much I made on a per-project basis.

April 8th, 2007We’ve got new Cashboard features you’re going to love. You know we don’t sleep over here. We just pushed a massive update. Check out the goodies.
Billable Time
You need to keep track of all of your time on a project. That’s why we made it simple to track billable and non-billable hours.
Do you need to approve your employee’s time before invoicing a project? No worries. All of their time is marked non-billable by default.
Making the time billable just takes one click of a checkbox. No page refreshes or annoying load times necessary. Visit your project’s Time Log tab to start managing what time gets invoiced.
The Cashboard Timer
Pretty self-explanatory. Our timer works just like a regular stop watch. Click once to start and watch the seconds start ticking. Go do your work and come back when you’re done, then enter in the details for the task you worked on.
Quit guessing how much time you spent working on a task and get to work without worry.
Other Timesheet Improvements
You can now add time entries in the all-time view, and edit time entries.
Enjoy the eggs – but we’re keeping the chocolate bunny in the fridge until the end of the week…(Can you say OS X dashboard widget?)
