Cashboard is monitored from 15 different locations around the globe every 5 minutes, and we’re alerted if it ever goes down.
Now you too can check Cashboard’s uptime and status by visiting this page.

Usability update: Smart list views
August 22nd, 2007We’re constantly tweaking the workflow of Cashboard to make it easier for you to use. Today’s update has to do with the project and estimate list screens.
Before the update, all estimates and projects were shown on one screen. That’s great until you have about 30 closed projects clogging up your view.
Now when you reach 10 projects in the system the display will shift to a tab-view, only showing your active projects by default.
Of course all of your closed projects are still available, but hidden from normal view. Don’t worry about filing them away or doing any housekeeping tasks. Cashboard takes care of everything for you.
We’ve applied the same concept to estimates as well. Enjoy!
Small design refresh
August 22nd, 2007We just pushed a small design refresh to the application. If you’re seeing weird graphics please clear your browser cache.
If you’re logged into Cashboard, holding down the Shift key while pressing the browser reload button will clear your cache.
Rails Rumble 2007 Official Sponsor
August 10th, 2007
We’re proud to announce that Cashboard is an official sponsor of the Rails Rumble 2007.
The Rails Rumble is a competition to test your Ruby on Rails hacking skills, build some cool new web apps, and make some friends.
The concept is simple: you get 48 hours to design, develop, and deploy a web application from scratch. After those 48 hours are up, you’ll be judged by the community through a peer-ranking system in a variety of categories (see Rules for more information). After about a week of controlled mayhem, judging wraps up and the dust settles. Winners are then declared, and awarded some cool prizes. We’ll be announcing what those prizes are shortly.
We will be giving away 6 year-long Maple subscriptions (a $1080 value each) to Cashboard as prizes, one for each category winner.
Changing the company that a Project or Estimate belongs to
August 10th, 2007If you’d like to change the company that a project or estimate belongs to, visit its Details tab.
You’ll be able to change the company – as long as there have been no invoices generated for it yet.
How do I change my time zone?
August 7th, 2007Time zones are now properly supported within Cashboard.
To change the time zone for your account, visit the Settings tab. From there click the Account sub-tab, and you’ll be presented with a form that will let you change your time zone.

Let your clients know what's happening
August 1st, 2007Your clients want to know how you’re performing on their projects.
Cashboard enables you to share that information with them from the client UI. We just added a unique screen to the client interface which shows them all tasks for their project, along with a breakdown of costs and time involved.
