November 20th, 2008

This isn’t a major change, but wanted to give everyone the heads up regardless.

Our pricing plan names have changed, but the prices have remained the same.

The new names are as follows

  • Vinyl > FREE
  • Leather > Basic
  • Alcantara > Pro
  • Carbon Fiber > Pro Plus
  • Maple > Mega
  • Granite > Ultra

Email support if you have any questions regarding the restructuring.

Flexible clients update

November 9th, 2008

Cashboard launched originally as a business to business tool.

I designed the application for myself, and people like myself. During my life as a freelance web developer I routinely contracted for companies that needed work. I rarely did work for just a single person.

During the year and a half we’ve been in service I came to realize not everyone works the same way. We’ve gone a long way to improve many things inside Cashboard to maximize flexibility while keeping the system simple to use, but one thing has gone largely ignored.

Today I’m proud to announce the launch of Cashboard as a service that functions in a business to business or business to consumer environment equally as well.

Widget update

November 9th, 2008

Over the weekend we updated some things in Cashboard which we will announce shortly. Unfortunately, some of these changes broke the existing widgets.

We’ve updated the Yahoo and Mac widgets to version 1.8, which will get them working again.

Please download the latest version of the widget for whatever platform you’re on.

Sorry for the trouble.

iPhone Timer

The 3rd party iPhone timer application has been affected as well by the recent updates. I have word from the developers that a fix is done and a new version is awaiting submission from Apple for inclusion to the app store.

Testimonial from a single mom

November 9th, 2008

I love getting emails like this!

Thank you so much for your service

I’m a single mom who works from home. I use your product to bill the one customer I have. This is such an easy program to use and it allows me to have a professional interaction with someone whom is both an client and a friend – a dicey proposition in business.

By allowing me to send out invoices, I can bill her. When she gets busy (pregnant mom with 2 little ones of her own) and forgets to send out payment, I can send another invoice with a reminder. It’s impersonal, so she is not offended.
