An update was pushed live this evening, which included some small changes that should please Cashboard power users.

Invoice schedules can now set Due Date, Late Fees, and Taxes for all invoices they generate.

Liquid template variables were added for estimates that handle all aspects of the newly released deposit features. The new variables are ‘deposit_amount’, ‘deposit_paid’, and ‘deposit_required’.

Hey Cashboard faithful.

We’ve entered Cashboard in StartupNation’s ‘Home-Based 100 Competition’.

I decided to knock out a few small nagging issues this weekend. Here’s the roundup.

Close / Activate Estimates

Cashboard customers have been creating tons of new estimates with the updated estimate feature set, and managing them was becoming a pain.

Activate or Close Estimate

We’ve added Close and Activate controls for estimates, just like projects. The view for estimates has also been changed into these two categories which replaced the old Needs Agreement and Ready To Go views.

To inform you which of your estimates are “Ready to go”, a column has been added into the table with an icon that shows its ready status.

International Number Formats

A lot of times we like to think the way we do things is the only way, but of course that’s definitely not true.

Euro number formats

We’ve added a preference to change the way numbers are displayed inside Cashboard. You now can show a thousand like 1,000.00 or 1.000,00 – so everyone can produce legal invoices, no matter where they’re from.

Small Performance Update

If you notice the application is a bit more snappy it’s due to this change and some web server tweaks with YSlow I snuck in.

Enjoy ;)
