This article assumes you’ve already set up Basecamp Integration with Cashboard.

Doing the import dance

You’ll notice that after you’ve set up Basecamp integration many new interface elements will become to available to you from within Cashboard.

One of these is the Import People link, available from the Companies & People screen.

After clicking this link you’ll be taken to an import screen, where you can pick which people from Basecamp you’d like to import to Cashboard.

People who have already been imported into Cashboard will have their email address shown in red, and no import button will be available. This assures no duplicate logins are created.

After the import

When you import someone they will have a new password assigned to them. Unfortunately at this time we can’t provide single-sign on or the same password that person has in Basecamp.
