As many of you are aware, we had some issues with the Cashboard server from 9am to noon PST today. Some of the new performance enhancement code was causing a memory leak on the server, which prevented logins during that three hour window.

Because of this, I’ve gone ahead and credited all paying accounts a free day of Cashboard service. Thanks to everyone for being so understanding during the downtime.

We have a handle on the situation and will be monitoring the server to make sure this doesn’t happen again. My apologies to everyone who was affected by this.

Also, just a quick note that we will be moving Cashboard to a bigger and better server sometime in the near future. We’ll probably have a 1-2 hour downtime during the switch, but expect a weeks advance notice in the application, here, and in your email inbox.
